Rehearsal Schedule & Important Dates
Friday, March 11
Student Appreciation Day/Costume Pick Up Day/General Recital Ticket Sales Day
Recital tickets go on sale at Pam’s Academy of Dance in Channahon from 4:30-7:30 p.m. for the BLUE show only! Tickets are $16.00 each
Friday & Saturday, April 8-9
Recital Photos will be taken & recommendation forms will be handed out. A detailed picture schedule will be handed out on March 11th.
Rehearsal times and detailed information is listed below. Attendance for all of the following rehearsals is imperative. If there is a conflict with any of the dates or times, please sign the rehearsal conflict sheet located at the front desk. A tentative recital order is attached to this schedule. Please check the list to find out which scene your child is in for each dance. If you need help, please ask a staff member for assistance.
Saturday,May 14
In Studio Rehearsal at Pam’s Academy of Dance in Channahon.
All dancers are to wear a leotard and tights with proper shoes.
10:00-11:00 Scene 1

The Hot Dog/Corn Dog Lunch will be from 11:15-2:30 p.m. Come try one of our FAMOUS corn dogs!!
Tuesday, May 17
4:00-7:00 p.m. Pre-Registration for 2010-2011 season.
7:00-7:30 p.m. Recital Volunteer Meeting at the Channahon Studio.
May 21-27
Parent Observation & Video Taping will be held during the last 10 minutes of class. Even-Year Student Awards will be handed out on this day, as well!
Thursday, June 16
Dress Rehearsal at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet.
All dancers are to wear their costumes and have their hair done and make up on upon arrival.
1:30 p.m. Dancers in Act 1 Arrive
2:00-4:30 p.m. Act 1 (Scenes 1 & 2)
(Again this year we will be utilizing a different dressing room space. This will allow dancer’s that are in Act 1 only to leave as the scene they are in is finished.)
4:15 p.m. Act 2 Dancers are to arrive at the stage door
*We will be utilizing two different doors to make the dismissal and arrival run smoothly.
5:00-7:30 p.m. Act 2 (Scenes 3 & 4)
7:30 p.m. Dismissal of Act 2 dancers
We have allowed extra time for the dress rehearsal to ensure that the students will be well prepared for recital night. Because of this, we have split the arrival times by Acts to make it more convenient for the dancers and their families. We will be sending out more details in May.
** We will be putting the younger dancers and those that are only in Act 1 in a separate dressing room, which will be monitored by parent volunteers. After the scene they dance in, these dancers will be able to be signed out by a parent. If these dancers are going to watch the remainder of the show, he/she will need a ticket to get into the theatre or sit in a designated area. Once the dressing room mom assignments are completed, parents will know if this dismissal applies to their child. All other dancers will be in the backstage dressing rooms and will have to stay for the entire show. We will be utilizing this same procedure on Dress Rehearsal day in order to make sure it runs smoothly on the night of the Recital.

8th Annual Channahon Recital at 3:00 p.m. at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet
